Independent School is named 2011 Periodical of the Year by the Association of Educational Publishers
Longtime TMG client and friend The National Association of Independent Schools won the prestigious award on behalf of its vibrant magazine, Independent School.
Independent School provides people associated with private schools and those interested in following trends in all sectors of education with the independent school perspective on topics that range from school operations and administration to teaching and learning and working with parents, boards of trustees, and other volunteers. It has been the premier publication in private education for over sixty years.
In a message to TMG, Independent School Editor Michael Bronson, Associate Editor Kitty Thuermer and Assistant Editor Edward O’N. Hoyt wrote, “In addition to thanking our writers, we wanted to thank you for making the magazine look so good for all these years — for bringing out the best in our content, and doing it with such grace and professionalism. Working with all of you has been wonderful. Here’s to another good year.”
Congratulations to NAIS and Independent School for this great achievement!
