Jane Ottenberg Speaks at the Customer Media Congress
Washington, D.C. (December 14, 2010) – TMG Custom Media President Jane Ottenberg gave a keynote speech to 250 people attending the Customer Media Conference on Thursday, November 17 in Haarlem, Netherlands. Of the nine speakers, she was the only one representing the United States. In her speech “Give Print A Chance,” Ottenberg updated the group on custom media trends and presented research that demonstrates why print still brings results. She showed how custom magazines are still the biggest revenue generator, clutter cutter and engager for custom content producers.
Ottenberg cited valuable statistics from the latest studies about custom magazines, provided case studies from TMG clients who successfully utilize digital content while allowing the print publication to serve as the content driver for every other medium.
“My goal was to show undisputable research about why custom magazines continue to work exceptionally well, particularly as part of an overall media program,” said Ottenberg. “You can’t prosper with digital alone if you want to grow customer loyalty through thought leadership.”
The conference’s organizer Sak Vanderboon said about the speech, “ Everybody was enthusiastic about your vision of the power and success of print!”
