Launch: Urban Image

by Chloe Thompson on December 10, 2010

If it comes from a guy who calls himself “Daddy Rich,” you know you’re in for a treat.

Debuting in January to kick off the New Year is Urban Image magazine, which is an offshoot of Daddy’s urban fiction, branded as “gangsta lit.”

The monthly magazine will feature urban news, including a city twist on usual suspects such as politics, health and fitness, food, relationships and plenty of culture.

It promises to “showcase talents who have not had the opportunity to reach traditional media attention,” according to a press release.

In the initial release, expect to see Daddy himself chatting about his writing career, a heartfelt story about a recent unemployment and a few recipes from a blonde that calls herself Maxi Bond (one of the former 1980s R & B group, Mary Jane Girls).
